I love being a sitter because I genuinely enjoy working with kids—they’re happy, energetic, and bring joy to everyone around them. My first job was babysitting at age 10, and I continued throughout high school, caring for children of my mom’s coworkers and family friends. Over the years, I’ve gained experience in supervising play, helping with homework, managing routines, and ensuring children’s safety and well-being. In high school, I took a Child Development course, which gave me a strong understanding of children’s physical, emotional, and social growth. I also learned CPR in school, though I was unable to complete the official certification due to missing the day before the quiz, but I still practiced and understand the procedure. My experience as a babysitter, combined with my education and training, has helped me develop skills in patience, communication, problem-solving, and creating a nurturing environment.
