Hello everyone, my name is Tessa and I am currently attending BGSU. I am a sophomore and am majoring to become an intervention specialist. I am 21 years old and I already have a tremendous amount of experience when it comes to babysitting and caregiving for others. My current job while I am at home is a caregiver for one of my brothers group homes in his business. I am in charge of taking care of 4 low-functioning autistic men and my oldest brother also has low-functioning autism. Just from growing up with him, I have had so many real-life experiences that have shaped me into the person I am today. I have also babysat for one family for about 5 years in my hometown that had 3 children (ages when I went away to college were 9,5,2) Babysitting is something that brings me joy and it’s right up my Read more alley when it comes to all the experience that I have. Other experiences I have had are volunteering is a first grade classroom, volunteering my whole senior year at an autistic center for children in the k-3 classroom (had all low-functioning nonverbal autistic boys) As of right now, I am available Mondays: 2pm-10pm, Tuesdays: 5:00pm-10:00pm, Wednesday: whatever times, Thursday: 5:00pm-10:00pm, Friday: whatever times, weekends; open to discussion times! This schedule is solely based off of what would work best for me in regards to school.
