Hello! I’ve been working with children for many years, beginning in an in-home daycare setting where I first discovered how much I loved caring for and working with children. I then spent five years working in a daycare, caring for up to 10 children at a time. This experience helped me become highly skilled at multitasking, staying organized, and giving each child the individual attention and care they need. After that, I became a private nanny for several wonderful families. I had the privilege of caring for one family for seven years and watched their four children since they were babies. Once they all started school, I joined another wonderful family for two years. During that time, I also traveled with them to Europe to help with childcare, so I’m very comfortable and experienced with traveling with children. In addition to childcare, I’m happy to help with light housekeeping and Read more home organization, children’s activity and school pickups and drop-offs, meal preparation, and keeping the children’s routines running smoothly. I am an artist so I always have the best arts and crafts projects, I love spending time outdoors, reading, and encouraging creative and imaginative play. I’m dependable, patient, caring, and take pride in creating a fun, safe, and nurturing environment for the children in my care. I’ve always developed very strong bonds with the families I’ve worked with, and I’m fortunate to still keep in touch with all of them and see them regularly. They truly have become family to me, which is something I value deeply. I recently moved to Detroit from Chicago and would love the opportunity to find a new family to care for and become a part of :)
