Hi! My name is Kendall, and I am a college student at the University of Nevada, Reno, double majoring in Early Childhood Education and Human Development & Family Sciences! I have a huge passion for working with children and have several years of hands-on experience in childcare, both in classroom settings and as a nanny/babysitter. I have 5 years of nannying and babysitting experience, caring for children of various ages, including infants as young as 3 months old! I am very comfortable with infant care, including feeding, diaper changes, nap schedules, tummy time, and maintaining consistent daily routines. I understand how important it is for parents to feel confident and comfortable leaving their little ones in someone else’s care. I currently work as a lead daycare provider caring for children ages 0–3, where I am responsible for creating a safe, loving, and engaging environment while supporting children’s daily routines and Read more developmental milestones. Before this, I worked as a preschool assistant teacher and floater, gaining experience with children from infancy through age 5. I also have experience working with children with special needs, including children with autism and varying developmental abilities. Through my college coursework and classroom practicums, I have gained a deeper understanding of child development, age-appropriate activities, positive guidance, and how to support children’s social, emotional, and cognitive growth. I love planning fun, creative, and educational activities that keep children engaged while helping them learn! I would describe myself as bubbly, patient, dependable, nurturing, and extremely hardworking. I truly love building meaningful relationships with the children and families I work with. I understand that every child is different, and I always make an effort to adapt my care to their individual needs and personalities. My goal is always to make sure parents feel confident that their children are safe, happy, loved, and well cared for. I genuinely love what I do, and working with children is not just a job to me, but something I hope to continue doing throughout my career! I would love the opportunity to get to know your family and provide a fun, positive, and nurturing environment for your little ones!
