Why do you love being a sitter? I love being a sitter because I enjoy caring for children and creating a safe, positive, and supportive environment for them. As a nursing student, I’m especially interested in working with children because I hope to become a pediatric nurse in the future. Being a sitter would allow me to build meaningful connections with children while gaining more experience understanding their needs, personalities, and development. What experience do you have? I am a nursing student with experience providing care and support to others through my healthcare and caregiving experiences. I have 5 years of nanny experience from 2 month olds to pre teens also helped care for younger family members, which has taught me patience, responsibility, and how to keep children engaged and comfortable. Through my nursing clinical experiences, I have developed experience communicating with patients and families and providing safe, compassionate care. Read more What skills and training do you have? I have nursing education and clinical training in patient safety, vital signs, medication safety, infection prevention, communication, and recognizing changes in a person's condition. I am also trained in therapeutic communication and understand the importance of creating a safe and supportive environment. As someone pursuing a career in pediatric nursing, I am eager to continue developing my skills and gain more hands-on experience working with children.
