Weekend availability! Hi there! I'm Laura, a dependable college student who is pursuing a degree in speech-language pathology. I have worked with children in many areas, including professional (schools and clinics), social (local childcare services/nanny), and informal (friends and family) settings! I am CPR and First Aid certified as well has foundational knowledge in ASL. I strive to create a safe, respectful, and nurturing environment for every child in my care. When doing this, I interact with children fairly, listen to their needs and requests, and honor their feelings while maintaining clear boundaries. My goal is to ensure children feel heard, supported, and cared for. All essential caregiving responsibilities are covered, including meal preparation and mealtimes, general hygiene, potty training or assistance, play and enrichment activities, and bedtime routines, but I'm happy to answer additional questions or discuss specific family needs.
