Hi! I’m Rachel! I’m an Indiana-licensed teacher with 13 years of experience working with children, plus 5 years of paid daycare experience. My background is primarily in special education, where I’ve worked with children with a wide range of abilities, personalities, learning needs, and behaviors. I also have experience in elementary education and working with younger children. I’m patient, dependable, compassionate, and genuinely enjoy spending time with kids. I love reading, playing, doing crafts and activities, helping with homework, getting outside, and keeping children engaged while still following their normal routines. I’m comfortable providing individualized support and working with children who may need extra patience, structure, encouragement, or supervision. I’m also a mom to a young son, so I understand how important it is to find someone you truly trust with your child. I’m looking for a part-time position in the Kokomo area and am open to childcare, special-needs care, respite care, or companion care for adults. Ideally, I’m looking for consistent daytime hours with a family who needs someone they can rely on regularly.
