Why I Want to Be a Nanny or Babysitter I love working with children and creating a safe, fun, and nurturing environment where they can feel comfortable being themselves. I have over 5 years of experience working with children, including my current experience as a preschool teacher with children ages 4–5. I’m also currently working toward my Child Development Associate (CDA) credential for birth through age 5, which has helped me continue building my knowledge of child development and age-appropriate care. I enjoy getting to know each child’s personality, interests, and individual needs.
