Hello I have a long history in childcare. I am the oldest of 4 and lived with my 4 cousins whom I’m also older than. My childhood consisted of caring for them because our home life wasn’t the best. I was left at home with them daily. I learned to cook and assist with homework at an early age. As I grew I became a lead childcare teacher for 15 years I worked in an accredited Center caring for infants toddlers and preschoolers. This included special needs from Autism to CP. I’ve had to clean and change feeding tubs and catheters for using the bathroom and colostomy bags. I was over the whole centers learning program and curriculum. I’m very patient and have a special gift with children especially children with different challenges because of my childhood I developed a certain understanding and empathy that’s helps me to connect with Read more all children. I’m a soccer mom basketball mom orchestra mom and o love to cook and do crafts. Art is my absolute favorite me and my children love to draw paint and create things. I’m more than confident with my childcare skills. I’m TT Shonda to all my kids friends cousins and family members even if I’m not their real Auntie. I usually have 7-10 kids in my home on a weekend. Because they all love to come over they know my house is the house with all the kids. I have 3 degrees including a Masters in business and leadership. I have top tier customer service skills because I apply my childcare skills in service situations to deliver white glove service no matter what area of work I’m in. I’ve Managed groups over 20 so managing children is easy in my experience. I’ve also worked as a server for high end weddings and executive events. Custom service and being a care giver is in my blood. I’ve worked in home health for 5 plus years and was also the sole caregiver of my sister before she passed from cancer. I’ve taken care of my mother, and great aunt, and two uncles who all had terminal illnesses. Cancer, dementia, and strokes. I have a lifetime of experience with caring and taking care of others. My lived experiences alone qualifies me. Being in childcare I had to be CPR and first aid certified.
