Hello! I am a career nanny with a wealth of experience with children of all ages and abilities. I have spent the past 11 years as a full time nanny, and have been babysitting for 25 years! All of my nanny roles have lasted 1+ years and I will have multiple references for you to contact. I hold a Medical Assistant Certification which I received through an accredited MA school. Under this certificate I was employed with a cardiologist and then employed by St Louis Children’s hospital for 3 years in the intensive care unit provided patient care. Because of this I have extensive experience with preemies, newborns, infants, twins, and children between birth and 13 years of age. I am current on my pediatric CPR and first aid certifications, and I am up to date on all vaccines included Covid vaccines and boosters. I hold a certificate in Early Read more Childhood education and worked in childcare during my young adult years. While I worked with all ages during that time most of my days were spent with infants, toddlers and two year olds. I'm an active and engaging caregiver; I love playing ball or tag at the park, conducting kid friendly science experiments, baking, making crafts, or just reading books. I also enjoy taking the children in my care on outing. Some of my favorite places in the St. Louis area are The Zoo, The Botanical Gardens and the Magic house. I'm happy to help with all of the basics, such as: cleaning out lunchboxes and packing the next day's lunch, preparing snacks or simple meals, assisting children with homework, cleaning up any messes we make during our time together, putting away clean dishes from the dishwasher, assisting with children's laundry, helping with pet care basics (letting dogs outside, feeding, etc), etc. I view my role in the family as assisting the parents in helping the household run smoothly, and I take pride in my work in that role.
