Hi everyone! My name is Lauren, I am a professional teacher and babysitter in the area looking for additional opportunities . I am currently working towards earning my associates degree in early education - which I will graduate with this spring! I have experience working in a variety of settings, including summer camps, daycares, classrooms, and homes! I have been babysitting forever, I started mostly with family friends and worked hard to gain the trust of other families in my community. I have been a Girl Scout counselor for almost 8 years, teaching daisies- ages 4 to 7, where I helped to engage and encourage them through our weekly schedule full of fun crafts and activities. I also worked at a local daycare for over a year and a half, teaching students mainly age 1-3. After this, I became a part time nanny to a wonderful family, supporting their daily routine with a 5month old and a 3 year old. I treat them like family, and still visit them regularly! After leaving, I decided to become an assistant at a local private school. This is where I currently reside, continuing to learn, grow, and love where I am! I work primarily with ages 3-6 directing the after school program and forming loving relationships with parents. Diving into my qualifications and trainings: I am fortunate to be certified to teach preschool and school age classes. I obtained these certifications through many in-person and online instructions. Additionally, I have been re-trained in CPR and First aide response within the last year. I have a reliable vehicle, and a clean driving record. I would describe myself as patient, creative, and passionate when it comes to my work! I am here to ensure your child’s safety and happiness in my care!
