Hi, I’m a proud mom, recent college graduate, and lifelong caregiver with a heart for children and a passion for making a difference. My journey with children started long before it became a career. As the oldest of 3 on my mom’s side and the oldest of 10 on my dad’s side, caring for little ones has always been a natural part of my life. I started helping care for children in my family and community when I was just 8 years old, and that love for nurturing, teaching, and supporting children has continued to grow ever since. Professionally, I have over 4 years of daycare experience, primarily caring for children ages 0–6, along with experience in after-school and youth-centered programs, including Girls Inc. and Boys & Girls Clubs, where I worked with children and teens ages 5–18. I’ve had the opportunity to care for children through many different stages Read more of life, and each experience has taught me something new about patience, compassion, communication, and the importance of creating a safe space where children can simply be themselves. I’m also a recent college graduate with an Associate degree in Health Sciences and my MAA, along with my CNA certification. I am continuing my education with the goal of my Doctorate & teaching degree. My education and healthcare background have strengthened my ability to be attentive, responsible, and prepared when caring for others. But beyond my education and experience, my “why” has always been the kids. Becoming a mom to my daughter, who is now 2, changed my life in ways I never could have imagined. She gave an even deeper meaning to the work I do and reminded me just how important it is for children to feel loved, heard, encouraged, and protected. I want every child I care for to feel like they matter and to leave my care having learned, laughed, explored, and felt genuinely supported. I’m loving, caring, patient, dependable, and intentional about the environment I create for the children in my care. I don’t just want to be someone who watches your child, I want to be someone who contributes positively to their growth, confidence, and childhood memories. As I build my career, I’m also building a legacy, one that I can be proud of and one that my daughter can look back on and know that her mom worked hard to make a difference. Your child is more than a job to me. They are someone’s whole world, just like my daughter is mine. And I would be honored to care for yours with that same love, patience, and intention.
