Here's a bit about me, I am a mature grandmotherly child care provider, don't let that count me out because I have been involved with children practically my whole life from a very young age. I am the oldest of 5 and a mother of 2 grown children of my own. At 13 my mom had an oops baby so while she worked at night I was the care giver for all of them. I have always been crazy about kids so when it came time to have my own I decided that to stay home with mine I would do it either in home or bring them to centers with me. I started first at home with friends and relatives children but when we relocated here I couldn't do it from home, so I went to a center as an Assistant teacher and then an opportunity opened with a Read more brand new center as a Lead Teacher where I was able to implement my own procedures and train the staff working with me. In 2000 due to a change in my home life I was able to have a center again in my home which worked for me. I didn't have to lose my kiddos to the next room. They almost all stayed with me till they went to school, some starting as newborns. I saw to their training and helped them to achieve their cognitive skills, they were all school ready and I'm proud to say many became extremely great students. A good foundation matters. I am still in touch with many who are in High school or college. In 2010 with the economy tanking and my last group off to school I sadly had to close. I then became a professional Nanny. Working at first with temp positions I finally landed with an amazing family, the youngest wasn't born for months later. I stayed with them till she started preschool I and went to part time and started with another family at the school who hired me for the mornings with their baby. So for the remaining 2+ years I was with both families. In January of 2018 my sweetie was in Kindergarten and the little boy was now 2.5 and they were moving away so I went with another family. I had to have surgery 7 mos later with a long recovery so they had to replace me which broke my heart. My recovery has come to an end and I need to find a new family. Maybe it's yours, I would love to meet with you and your children. You will be able to get references from those families so you can see that for 27 years my child care has helped to produced some wonderful relationships. I know this was long but what's a few minutes for the greatest little people in your life! I hope you know me a little and will feel comfortable with a visit.
