Hi! I'm Abbie, a Junior at Washington and Lee University studying Art History and Education. I have worked with children of all ages in a variety of roles, including a Pre-K Sunday school teacher, senior summer camp counselor, and currently as a teacher's assistant in a first grade classroom and an educational support specialist in a primary Montessori classroom. I have had the most experience with children under 7, but am comfortable with all ages. I am also the oldest sister of six kids ranging from 5 to 13 years old, so I have grown up observing and supporting the developmental needs of children my entire life. With several years of experience in both structured and play-based environments, I am confident managing daily routines, creating engaging activities, and responding calmly to emergent situations, such as medical concerns, behavioral challenges, or schedule disruptions. I am CPR + First Aid certified and Read more skilled in meal prep, household chores, diaper changes, and I have my own car.
