I am currently studying Clinical Psychology at Indiana University Bloomington, with a minor in Prevention and Intervention in Child Development. I have a strong passion for working with children, helping them feel understood, supported, and able to grow into happy, healthy individuals. My long-term career goal is to help parents and society better understand child development and the importance of building healthy relationships with children. Beyond my academic goals, I genuinely love being around kids and creating meaningful connections with them. I have over six years of experience working with children in a variety of settings. I worked at a daycare for two years with children ranging from 6 months old through 7th grade, and I have taught gymnastics for four years to children ages 2–13. Through these roles, I completed CPR certification, first aid, choking hazard response, safe sleep training, and other child safety and protection trainings. I have Read more also babysat for multiple families since 8th grade, giving me additional hands-on experience caring for children of different ages and personalities. I am patient, dependable, and attentive, and I always strive to create a safe, fun, and supportive environment for children. In addition, I love animals and am happy to help care for pets, especially dogs. I am highly organized, enjoy cleaning and keeping spaces tidy, and I am always willing to help where needed. While cooking is not my strongest skill, I am eager to learn and improve so I can assist with meal preparation. I also have tutoring experience and can help children with homework and school responsibilities.
