Hi! I’m a junior in the Dental Hygiene program at UNE, and I’m looking to connect with families in the Old Orchard Beach, Biddeford, Saco, Portland, and surrounding areas who may need a babysitter or occasional childcare help! I have several years of experience working with children in educational, healthcare, and caregiving settings. In high school, I worked as an assistant preschool teacher with children from infants through age 5, helping with daily routines, creative play, activities, meals, and creating a safe and positive environment. I’ve also worked as an assistant dance teacher, which gave me experience working with a wide range of ages and personalities. I’m also a formally trained dental assistant and work with children in a dental setting. This has helped me become patient, attentive, responsible, and comfortable helping children feel safe and comfortable in new or stressful situations. I genuinely love working with kids and miss Read more being around them! I enjoy getting creative, staying active, and creating a fun, safe, and engaging environment where children feel supported. I’m comfortable helping with meals, activities, homework, routines, bedtime, and light tidying related to the children. Because I’m in school and have clinic, my availability is generally after 5 PM on weekdays (except Wednesdays), with more flexibility on weekends. I’m open to occasional babysitting, date nights, weekends, or something more consistent. I also have reliable transportation and regularly travel to Biddeford for dance team practices, so families in that general area would be especially convenient.
