This fall, I’m seeking one or two like-minded families to join my daughter and me for a slow, heartfelt rhythm of care, connection, and play 2 days per week in my cozy Northeast Tacoma home. Our days will unfold with outdoor play, paint-covered fingers, shared snacks, cozy stories, and open-ended exploration—all inspired by the Reggio Emilia philosophy and a deep belief in the magic of early childhood. This is not a home-based daycare—just a tiny circle of little ones growing and learning side by side, cared for in the comfort of my home, with warmth and intention. I'm a WA-state certificated teacher, with 20 years of teaching experience and extensive training in the early years. I was a classroom teacher in grades Preschool-2nd grade, most recently teaching Kindergarten in Seattle Public Schools. I have my Master of Education from University of Washington, and completed my Masters project on the Reggio Read more Emilia teaching modality. I’m hoping to connect with families who value slowness, creativity, and connection—who are looking for something rooted and real for their child’s early years.
