Meet Makayla

My name is Makayla, but you can call me Mak. I have years of experience caring for children since I am the oldest of four children. I babysat frequently for my parents throughout my teenage years to help accommodate their work schedules. My babysitting experience with my siblings stemmed from when they were in diapers until they hit middle school age. Additionally, I have four months of experience as a summer camp counselor, where I worked with children ranging from 4-13 years old. I loved working at the summer camp as I was able to help the kids with reading, constructing crafts, playing sports, and so much more. My favorite part of working with children is being able to put a smile on their faces while I provide them a safe space to grow as an individual.
