Hi! I’m someone who has always had a natural love for caring for children. I have a very nurturing, patient, and protective personality, and I truly enjoy creating a safe, comfortable, and positive environment where children feel loved, supported, and understood. Safety is one of my biggest priorities. Even when I’m at a park or around children, I naturally pay attention and look out for them because I believe every child deserves to feel safe and protected. My own experiences growing up taught me how important it is for children to have someone who listens to them, cares for them, and makes them feel comfortable being themselves. A big part of my passion for childcare comes from my younger brother, who has autism. I have helped care for him throughout his life, which taught me patience, compassion, understanding, and how important it is to care for each child’s individual needs. Read more I have also built meaningful friendships with children with disabilities throughout middle and high school, which helped me appreciate how special every child is and the importance of giving them kindness, support, and understanding. I have years of hands-on childcare experience with family members’ children, including babysitting overnight, weekends, and weekdays. I have experience preparing meals, helping with routines, cleaning, keeping children entertained, and making sure they are safe and comfortable. I am also very involved in my Partner’s younger siblings’ lives (ages 5, 7, and 11), who I have known since they were younger, and I love being someone they can trust and look up to. I have always had that “big sister/auntie” energy — I’m caring, dependable, sweet, and someone children naturally feel comfortable around. I enjoy playing with kids, helping them learn, listening to them, and building a genuine bond. My skills come from real-life caregiving experience. I am patient, responsible, safety-focused, compassionate, and comfortable caring for children with different personalities and needs. I have always been interested in working with children and have considered pursuing occupational therapy or a related career because I love supporting children’s growth and development. I would love the opportunity to provide your child with the same care, patience, and protection I would want for my own family.
