Hi, my name is Johanna (or Jo) and I am 27 years old. I'm loving, outgoing and reliable, and curious, and I love caring for babies. I have several years of experience working with children ranging from infant age to 17 years old. I have a year of experience at The Goddard School working with infants and toddlers. From January to September 2024 I worked as a private nanny for a wonderful baby girl, and occasionally her 3 year old sister. In October 2024 I started working at a childcare facility, where I held the title of Assistant Teacher working in the infant room. Within a year and a half I was promoted, and currently work there as the lead infant teacher. Although I love working with most ages, I feel most gratified working with babies because I love watching them grow and learn things for the first time. (And Read more love to make them smile and laugh!) Being understanding, gentle and silly with little ones is very important to me. I like to make sure I'm giving each child my full attention, and the care they need/deserve! I also love doing arts and crafts and sensory activities with little ones! With me, you will most likely get some handprint art or abstract paint smudges the end of the day! I am currently looking to babysit occasionally on weekends.
