Hi! I’m Lisa, an experienced childcare professional with a bachelor’s degree in Human Development and Family Studies, with an emphasis in Child Development, from UW–Madison. I have extensive experience caring for children both professionally and personally, including working as a preschool teacher at the UW–Madison Preschool Lab and as a toddler teacher in a childcare center. I currently work as a private nanny and am also a mom of three children. I have experience with children from infancy through the school-age years and especially enjoy working with babies, toddlers, and preschoolers. My background in early childhood education has given me a strong understanding of child development, age appropriate expectations, and how to make everyday routines engaging and educational. I’m warm, dependable, patient, and very hand on. I enjoy reading, art projects, outdoor play, walks, outings, imaginative play, and helping children learn through their everyday experiences.
