Hi! I’m Lauren and I'd describe my personality as outgoing, kind, and happy. I like working with kids because I love their spirit and energy. I started working with kids when I was in middle school starting with younger family members. I continued to care for kids with different ages throughout high school. After high school, I worked a day camp for two summers, where I worked with ages 5-10. I also worked two winter camp breaks. I am also an aunt to a two year old girl and three boys, of ages 6, 12, and 13, who fill me with so much joy. I was also a nanny last summer for a 3 year old and 9 month old. While at school, I have been a nanny to a 2 1/2 year old as well. I am comfortable with changing diapers, preparing meals, cleaning around the house, doing laundry, Read more or any other tasks to to help around the house and help the children. Throughout my extensive history with working with kids, I have grown my patience, I love to be fun and energetic with the kids, I love to engage with them creating a fun environment, and I have compassion for children. I am also licensed as a home health aide, first aid certified, and CPR certified. Additionally, I have my own transportation and I am comfortable with pets. In my spare time, I like to go on walks, listen to music, go on bike rides, and spend my time with family and friends. I am an upcoming senior at Indiana University. I am majoring in speech language pathology and hoping to work with children in my future!
