Hello dear family! I'm a graduate student at GWU, living in Alexandria, VA and have been a sitter/nanny in the DMV for over 5 years. I started back in 2018 while pursuing my Masters and have worked with over 40 families since, with kids ranging from 2 weeks old to 14 years old. I would say I'm a more engaged sitter than most and do not like using screens when I'm with the children I care for. I love getting the kids (and myself) outside for some fresh air, playing at parks, picnics, sports, painting, going to the pool, you name it! When we can't do that, staying in the house to play, do puzzles, build with legos and get creative is normally the norm. I love engaging with kids and helping them learn! Catherina has been a great sitter for my 2 and 4 year old. She arrives on time and is very responsive. She brings educational activities for the kids (she brought a map last time she babysat) and plays all their favorite games. My kids love her!
