I’ve been around kids my entire life, and caring for them has always come naturally to me. From a young age, I found joy in helping, teaching, and simply being someone children could laugh and feel safe with. Now, working at the YMCA, I’ve turned that lifelong love into something meaningful—supporting youth in a positive, active, and nurturing environment. I love watching kids grow, learn, and discover the world around them. Every day brings something new, and their energy, honesty, and creativity remind me why I love what I do. While working at the YMCA, I’ve received hands-on training in youth development, child safety, and behavior management. I’m certified in CPR, First Aid, and Child Abuse Prevention, and I’ve been trained to create inclusive, engaging, and age-appropriate activities for children of all backgrounds. My experience includes working in after-school programs, summer camps, and enrichment classes, where I’ve learned how to Read more support kids emotionally, socially, and physically.
