Hi! My name is Maliana, and I’m a college student with a lifelong love for working with kids. As the second oldest of five siblings, I’ve been helping care for children for as long as I can remember. That early experience taught me patience, responsibility, and how to connect with kids of all ages. I’ve also worked professionally with children in every job I’ve had so far. Most recently, I spent two summers as a mentor at the youth program in my Pueblo, where I supervised groups of kids ages 5–12 with just one other mentor. That role strengthened my skills in leading activities, keeping kids safe, and handling everything from playtime to minor conflicts with confidence and care. I’m comfortable with all aspects of childcare—from play, meals, and homework help to bedtime routines. I’m reliable, patient, and genuinely enjoy spending time with children.
