Hello! My name is Carine Roland, and caring for children has always been a true passion of mine. I’m a college-educated individual with several years of hands-on experience working with kids of all ages and abilities. Most recently, I served as a Program Coordinator at Massachusetts General Hospital, where I supported a program focused on preventing mental illness in young children through early intervention. (You can learn more about the program here). I’ve also worked as a weekend nanny for over three years for a wonderful family in Boston, in addition to caring for many of my younger family members. I’ve supported children with special needs—including ADHD, learning disabilities, autism, and rare genetic conditions—and I always strive to meet each child where they are with patience, kindness, and care. I treat every child as if they were my own, and I believe every child deserves to grow up feeling safe, Read more seen, and supported. Safety and emotional well-being are always my top priorities, and I strongly believe that children should be treated with respect and guided with consistency, positivity, and empathy. I love doing fun and enriching activities with kids like arts and crafts, outdoor play, swimming, cooking, and reading. I’m also a tutor and enjoy supporting early learning and school readiness in playful and approachable ways. Young children are incredibly impressionable, and I believe it’s essential to be a positive role model in their lives. It only takes one nurturing adult to make a lasting impact on a child’s self-esteem and development—and I take that responsibility to heart. I bring warmth, reliability, and genuine care to every family I work with.
