Hi! My name is Kaitlyn, and I recently graduated Summa Cum Laude from Beloit College with a major in Business and Economics and a 3.96 GPA. Throughout college, I balanced academics, athletics, and leadership roles. I served as Tennis Club President, Resident Assistant, Mortar Board Member, and a Clubs & Organizations Oversight Committee Representative for SAAC. I also worked as a LEADS Tutor and was part of Belmark Associates, Beloit’s student-run market research firm. As a lifelong soccer player and Captain of the Beloit Women’s Soccer Team, I helped lead our team to win the Midwest Conference Championship in 2021 — a first in school history. These experiences strengthened my leadership, patience, and ability to stay calm and positive in all situations. Why do you love being a sitter? I love being a sitter because I genuinely enjoy spending time with kids and being someone they can look up to. Read more I value creating a fun, safe, and encouraging environment where children feel comfortable being themselves. Whether it’s playing outside, helping with homework, doing crafts, or sticking to a bedtime routine, I enjoy being part of their growth and daily routines. I also love building trust with families and being someone they can rely on. What experience do you have? I have been babysitting since I was a freshman in high school, caring for children of various ages. Over the years, I’ve gained experience managing routines, preparing meals, helping with homework, organizing activities, and handling bedtime with consistency and patience. In addition to babysitting, I’ve held leadership roles in college that required mentoring and supporting younger students, including serving as a Resident Assistant and LEADS Tutor. My background as a team captain also strengthened my ability to guide, communicate clearly, and create a positive environment. What skills and training do you have? * Strong organization and time-management skills * Leadership and conflict resolution experience * Experience mentoring and tutoring students * Calm, patient, and dependable personality * Excellent communication with both children and parents * Ability to manage schedules, homework help, meals, and activities Balancing athletics, academics, and multiple leadership roles helped me become highly responsible and dependable. I’m excited to bring my energy, positivity, and strong sense of responsibility to a family looking for a trustworthy and engaging sitter!
