Hi families! I’m Ms. Kia 😊 I love working with children because I enjoy being part of their growth helping them learn, build confidence, and feel safe in a nurturing environment. I strive to create a space where kids feel comfortable, supported, and excited to be themselves. I’ve been working with children since 2018, starting with infants at Bright Horizons. I’ve also worked as a lead teacher in an elementary after-school program and currently teach Special Education English at the high school level. My experience ranges from infants to teens, and I’m confident adapting to different ages, needs, and personalities. I am currently pursuing two master’s degrees in psychology one in Child and Adolescent Development and the other in Mental Health which allows me to better understand and support children’s emotional and developmental needs. I am EEC certified to teach infants, toddlers, preschool, and Pre-K. I enjoy planning engaging activities Read more like crafts, games, and learning-based play while also supporting routines such as homework, meals, and bedtime.
