Hi, My name is Sophia! I am a student at WIT in Boston. I am currently taking classes, however I commute so I am available to babysit during weekday afternoons and nights and all day on weekends. I have 2 years of childcare experience with children aging from 3 months to 12 years old in daycare and home-like environments. I also have a great background in healthcare. I have worked as a nursing assistant, dietary aide, pharmacy technician, and many other roles in the healthcare field. I am CPR and First Aid Certified, as well as up to date on all vaccinations. Sophia and I had agreed to a babysitting arrangement while my daughter was on spring break. But when the day came, she did not show up. She also did not contact me to explain her absence, nor apologize for missing the agreed upon commitment. I still have not heard from her, despite reaching out multiple times. We were left scrambling for care to cover the remaining days. The saddest part is that my daughter was so excited to spend time with her new babysitter - she had even made cards and drawings to welcome her to our home. When Sophia didn’t show up, we had to explain to our daughter that she didn’t do anything wrong. It wasn’t her fault - Sophia just let us down.
