Hi! My name is Julia and I’m a recent college grad from Depaul. I have my bachelors in psychology with a concentration in human development, and I’ve worked consistently as a nanny and babysitter for the last 10 years. I currently work full time nannying for a 2 year old girl and two elementary aged boys, so I’m hoping to find parents looking for weekend or date night sitters! I’m CPR certified, have first aid training, and also carry a Lifevac (a portable choking device) with me to every babysitting job. I have experience with kids of all ages, but I especially love working with babies and toddlers :) I enjoy beings hands on and active with the kids I sit for, so I prefer no screen time (unless parents instruct otherwise). I’m very comfortable with handling meal times, diapers, bedtime/naps, planning activities, and driving kids to activities (I do Read more have my own car for transportation). We recently hired Julia as an occasional babysitter for our date nights. Her references were glowing, and our initial meeting was great! She's very personable, friendly and punctual. Our daughter really warmed up to her fast too! Only a few minutes after arriving she was already engaging with our 3.5 year old and playing with her and all her toys on the floor. We will be using her again, and i highly recommend her!
