Hi! I’m Isabel. I have about four years of childcare experience and have cared for children ranging from ages 1 to 12. I originally became interested in childcare through volunteering with a special needs after-school program, and since then I’ve worked with several families, including children on the autism spectrum. I’d describe myself as friendly, nurturing, organized, and fun. I’m naturally calm and patient, but I also love being playful and keeping kids engaged. Some of my favorite things to do with children are arts and crafts, reading, learning games, painting, and finding creative activities based on what they’re interested in. One of my longest babysitting positions was with a family of two children, where I regularly helped with school pickup and drop-off, bedtime routines, light housework, and their day-to-day schedule. I attended an arts-focused school for nine years and love painting, singing, classical music, and art history, so I especially enjoy bringing creativity into the time I spend with kids. I’m CPR and First Aid certified, have safe and reliable transportation, and am currently continuing my education in childcare and special needs education to hopefully become an Occupational Therapist. Most importantly, I want parents to feel that their children are with someone they can genuinely trust and will be able to get to know while also making sure the kids feel comfortable, cared for, and excited to spend time together.
