I love being a sitter because I enjoy building connections with kids and creating a fun, safe environment for them. Every child has their own personality, and it’s rewarding to support them, make them laugh, and help them feel comfortable when their parents are away. I also enjoy being someone parents can trust to care for their children responsibly. I have experience caring for children of all ages, both as a babysitter and as a gymnastics coach. Coaching gave me the opportunity to work with kids from toddlers through pre-teens, which taught me how to keep children engaged, encourage them to try new things, and adapt to different needs and personalities. Along with babysitting for family, neighbors, and family friends, I’ve handled everything from homework and meals to bedtime routines and fun activities. What skills and training do you have? I’m trained in CPR/First Aid and I’m patient, dependable, and Read more good at problem-solving when unexpected things come up. I know how to manage routines, communicate with parents, and keep kids engaged in safe, age-appropriate activities. My background as a coach also gave me skills in leadership, safety awareness, and positive encouragement.
