Hi my name is Yasmine! Growing up in England, I gained valuable experience caring for I've babysat and tutored for children of various ages and backgrounds through connects from the London community. My first experience with children began with caring baby cousins from newborn infancy to their current age of 11. Through my auntie's guidance, I learned essential skills such as changing, feeding, and burping. As they grew older, I actively engaged them in age-appropriate activities, often incorporating our shared love for playing games. Being an artsy and creative individual, I have no trouble coming up with last-minute activities to keep children entertained. Yasmine is unreliable and has terrible communication. She replied late Tuesday night to a job post for backup care for my sick child on Wednesday 11 am-7 pm. I replied the next morning at 7 am asking if she could still help and asking her to call asap if she could. Silence. At 6:13 pm, 11+ hours later and after the time we requested care was done, she sent a text message saying, “I’m not sure if you’re still looking for some care coverage. Let me know.” I replied two minutes later saying I was finishing up work and would reply later, and asked her if she could babysit tomorrow as my child was unexpectedly still sick. I texted and called her around 7:30 pm and texted again just before 9. No response. It’s how 10 am the following day and still no response. It’s terrible communication that has made us unsure how to plan. Why bother reaching out twice but then ghosting us?

We hired Yasmine to watch our twin granddaughters. They have a lot of energy and sometimes want different things, so it takes a special person to watch them. Yasmine showed up on time and asked about special needs and considerations. She played games with them, tried to take them on a walk, unfortunately, that was when the Japanese Lantern Flies were everywhere. The girls had a wonderful time and liked her a lot. I would definitely use her again. SB
