Hi! I’m Shelby, a mom in Greenbrier with 10+ years of childcare experience and 6+ years of healthcare experience as a CNA, including hospital experience. I’m currently offering small-group childcare from my home and intentionally keeping the group limited so each child gets plenty of individual attention. My goal is to create a fun, loving, structured environment that feels like a home away from home while still incorporating preschool-style learning through play. Our days may include story time, crafts, sensory play, music and movement, letters, numbers, colors, shapes, fine motor activities, imaginative play, and indoor and outdoor play. I have plenty of toys, books, learning materials, infant and toddler equipment, and dedicated play spaces. I’m comfortable with infants, toddlers, and young children and understand how important routines, naps, feeding schedules, comfort items, and clear communication are to parents.
