I love being a sitter because I genuinely enjoy supporting children as they grow and explore the world around them. When my twin daughters were young, I ran a home childcare program, which gave me a deep appreciation for the trust families place in caregivers. I find joy in creating a safe, nurturing space where children feel seen, heard, and encouraged to thrive—just as I did for my own girls and the children I cared for. In addition to my role as a Child and Youth Program Assistant at Eglin Air Force Base, I operated a home childcare program while raising my twin daughters. I cared for multiple children, planned daily routines, and balanced developmental activities with emotional support. That experience taught me how to manage different personalities, foster sibling cooperation, and maintain a structured yet flexible environment. I’m CPR and First Aid certified, trained in child safety protocols, and Read more experienced in both home-based and institutional childcare settings. I’ve developed lesson plans, coordinated group activities, and maintained detailed records. Raising twins while running a childcare program also sharpened my multitasking and problem-solving skills—especially when it comes to managing different needs at once. I’m highly organized and comfortable communicating with parents about their child’s progress and well-being.
