We were “ghosted”. Elle worked for us for 3 weeks, then had a week off for sickness and then a vacation. Text me at 6pm Sunday night to tell me she still wasn’t feeling well. I requested clarification about what that meant regarding time off, no reply, texted again the next day, nothing. We have not heard from her since. I even spent time one day searching death notices to see if she was okay because doing this seemed out of character. Now that I have to find someone else and try and piece things together for people to watch our kids I see she last logged into her Sittercity profile 2 days ago, so I guess she’s alive.
