Hey, my name is Katelyn and I’ve been working in childcare since earning my CDA in high school. I worked at ladybird academy preschool right out of high school and love to help children with their developmental milestones. My favorite parts about being a preschool teacher is getting to be creative and make crafts and teaching children through play. I loved the opportunity to interact with kids from all different backgrounds and different needs, though I missed the opportunity to work one on one with a lot of my students due to class size. Since that job I’ve realized I’m more fit for a nanny or babysitting position as I can give kids more individualized attention and be able to work more one on one with kids and parents to fit the child’s needs. I have a special place in my heart for teaching, art, animals, and nature.

Katelyn watched my boys for two evenings so my husband and I could go out without them while we were out visiting the area. She was easy to communicate with before, was on time, and was so wonderful with my kids! I highly recommend her!
