Hi! I’m Carmen, an experienced, dependable caregiver with over 10 years of childcare experience, working with children from newborns through teenagers. I truly enjoy supporting families and creating a safe, calm, diverse and nurturing environment where kids can feel comfortable, confident, and cared for. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, with minors in Pre-Law and Political Science, which gives me a strong foundation in child development, behavior, emotional regulation, and communication. This background helps me approach caregiving with patience, empathy, and structure, while adapting to each child’s unique personality and needs. I also speak some Spanish, as well as Mandarin and ASL. I am creative and have many years of professional baking and cooking experience. I am trained in American, French, and Nordic baking and cooking. I also sing and have played piano for 18 years. I’m comfortable caring for multiple children and supporting daily routines such as feedings, Read more naps, homework, bedtime, and school schedules. I’m also happy to help with meal prep, cooking, and baking, and I can prepare healthy, kid-friendly meals while following any dietary guidelines. I am well versed in Gluten free, Vegan and alternative cooking and baking. In addition, I assist with household tasks like tidying play areas, laundry, dishes, and general organization to help keep things running smoothly. I have 6 years of driving experience with a clean driving record (no accidents or tickets) and am confident transporting children to and from school, activities, or appointments when needed.
