I served as a nanny for a family with children aged 2, 9, and 11 for two years. In this role, I assisted with laundry, meal preparation, household cleaning, as well as forged meaningful relationships with family members. I primarily assisted with after-school and weekend care but am open to aiding in before-school care. As a nanny, I pride myself on maintaining a firm balance between bringing fun to kids, while still fostering a sense of respect between myself and youth. I approach each interaction with patience, empathy, and creativity, and have a genuine interest in understanding children's needs. My ability to connect with kids comes from a genuine interest in their perspectives. In working with kids, I adapt my communication style to be age-appropriate and engaging, fostering an environment that builds trust and allows children to express themselves freely!
