hello! my name is ashley sánchez. i was born and raised in san diego, ca. i have worked professionally as a babysitter since i was 17, for more than 10 years now. i’ve been a caretaker for children anywhere from infancy through about twelve years old. i am accustomed to preparing snacks or meals, helping guide creative activities, preparing children for bed, supporting with laundry or organizing while children nap, driving them to actives and back home, school pick ups, as well as spending time outside. i grew up attending a performance arts middle school/high school, and would go on to receive my (bfa) from california institute of the arts in acting. my degree taught me how to be an improvisor and a team player. that in combination with my caretaking experience, makes me feel more than capable to spend time with children and not only be a caretaker to Read more them, but a friend. as someone who is always looking for ways fill my time with creative and flexible activities, caretaking for children has always felt like a fulfilling opportunity to learn not only more about children, but about myself as well. i own a reliable car and am fluent in spanish, in the case that it's a priority that to keep your child on a track of bilingual learning, or in the case that you even want to introduce a second language to them! i would be happy to pass along my resume, references, hop on a phone call, or meet in person before committing to anything. thank you for your time and best of luck with your search!
