Thank you so much for checking my profile out. I have been working in child care for almost 8yrs. I first began as a teacher's aid for a daycare ages 1-5. Then I moved to California in 2015 to work for AmeriCorps for four years at an elementary school. I was a mentor/tutor creating lesson plans to help our students both academically and teaching them social-emotional skills. I then worked in a middle school as an after-school leader creating educational enrichment for our students. Lastly, I worked as a teacher's aid/tutoring curriculum developer for a private school. I have always enjoyed working with children and helping them find their own passion and potential. I do this by creating fun and interactive lesson plans that enrich the child's mind, heart, and soul. I want to instill in the children I meet; a love for learning, confidence, and also the freedom to Read more be unique. *I actually live in Davis, CA. Looking for families within Davis.
