I love working with children because every child deserves someone who believes in them. I began working with children and adults with developmental and behavioral needs in 2002 in foster care and group home settings. After taking time off to raise my family, I returned to public service, working in special education at a state correctional facility before transitioning to the Elk Grove Unified School District. For the past five years, I have worked in a moderate/severe special education classroom with a strong focus on ABA-informed practices.
