I am a recent graduate of the University of Virginia, interested in being an entrepreneur! I am currently looking for a part-time and full-time work doing something that I love. I have worked in childcare for about 9 years now, working with K-12 as a babysitter and as a teacher’s assistant and in various elementary and middle schools. I have also worked as a third grade teacher at Simonsdale ES for the city of Portsmouth, VA. I absolutely love children and derive deep joy from watching them grow. I used to volunteer for a non-profit organization in Charlottesville, VA where I mentored young children in and out of the school setting, eventually becoming the lead administrator of the chapter. I truly love being around children because they teach us the constant need for unconditional patience and care. When caring for a family, I consider the needs of each of the children, whether that’s some extra play time, meal prep, nightly care, tutoring, structured activities, organization practices, and more. Either way, my priority is always making sure the family feels safe and cared for to the utmost extent, providing parents with peace of mind while you have to be away.
