Hello! My name is Tasha. As both a mother and someone who grew up in a home full of childcare experience—my own mother was a licensed in-home teacher and daycare provider—I’ve been surrounded by children my entire life. Working with little ones has always come naturally to me, and it’s something I genuinely love. While in high school, I chose to take early childhood education college courses rather than graduate early. In my first semester, I completed my required hours, and by the next semester, our school opened a daycare for local families. We created lesson plans and worked hands-on with the children every day—it was one of the most rewarding experiences I’ve ever had. After high school, I began teaching at private schools and daycares, including several Kindercare locations. Later, I became a lead teacher at Henderson Christian Academy in Las Vegas, where I taught Pre-K for 4-5 year Read more olds. I especially enjoy working with young children because their curiosity and ability to absorb information is inspiring. I love sparking that light in their eyes when they understand a new concept! I bring creativity and energy into every day—whether it’s singing educational songs, doing art projects, or engaging in imaginative play. I treat every child as if they were my own, and because of that, I value consistency and stability—not just for me, but for the children as well. I’m currently looking to return to childcare after being a stay-at-home mom and am available for weekday work (weekends available in emergencies).
