I have a Bachelors degree in Human Development and Family Studies with a concentration in Child and Youth Development. I grew up with two older sisters and one younger brother. I believe my passion for working with children became present at a very young age when we would all constantly play ”School” or “House” together. I was typically always the Mom or the Teacher. I first began taking care of children when I was 14 years old, and I have loved it ever since. It brings me joy to help support parents and their children by allowing them both to feel safe and comforted when they are in my care. My previous roles as a Toddler Teacher, an Early Childhood Mental Health Specialist, and Center Director helped mold me into the educator and leader that I am today. I learned to have true patience, resilience, and dedication to the children Read more in my care. The first 1,000 days of a child's life are the most significant and it's important that every child is given the chance to grow and thrive. I have a dog named Moose who always wants to play so I am MORE than okay with pets in the house, they it more homey. (:
