Hello my name is TaNiah, I am a 21 year old college student and I have been caring for kids ages newborn to 14 years old at a daycare and a summer camp. With my experiences I am good at keeping kids busy with games and entertainment while learning how to spell, count, and even learning calming techniques. As a Care Assistant I had 5 kids to myself, so I’m really good with multitasking. While it's nap time I clean up the play area, wash the dishes and disinfect work and eat tables and chairs. I also make lesson plans and a weak agenda for my kids to keep calm and build a stable routine with the older kids. The most rewarding part of the job is watching the little ones grow and learn life skills they'll always use: from tying their shoes, setting the table, and strong communication skills.
