Caregiving has always been a natural part of who I am. My love for it started early, inspired by my grandmother and a lifelong desire to be a mother. I have always been drawn to caring for babies, children, and families, and I believe strong caregiving comes from truly understanding each person as an individual. I have 17 years of personal and professional caregiving experience across both childcare and senior care. My background includes leadership and operations experience in senior living communities in the Downriver area, including Atria Kinghaven in Riverview and other assisted living environments. I have supported daily living needs, care coordination, staff oversight, and maintaining safe, structured, and supportive environments. I also have professional experience in senior living care with a focus on dementia care support and specialized caregiver training. In addition, I have experience working with children with special needs, including 40-hour certified Behavior Technician training and ABA therapy support experience. I am comfortable working with ADHD, developmental differences, and individualized behavioral needs, and I adapt my approach based on each child’s needs. My caregiving experience includes childcare, senior care, meal preparation, housekeeping, daily routine support, and coordination with healthcare providers when needed. I focus on patience, structure, safety, and consistent communication. I am currently transitioning from full-time operations work to focus more on my family while continuing to provide dependable, compassionate care to other families.
