Hello everyone, thank you for viewing my profile. First name is Tomorrow, but i go by my middle name Shalisa! I am a kind, loving, and absolutely have a strong passion for children. Under my care, I ensure every child will feel safe, heard, happy, and engaged in intentional activities that support their development. If I am not spending time in my kitchen learning new recipes or taking my toddler on adventures…I am listening to podcasts, reading, or taking workshop courses on all things education and parenting. I am a proud mama to my amazing 2 year old daughter, Scarlet. I have an Associates in Early Childhood Education and in Psychology. As well as, 7 years of paid experience in this field. I have cared for children of all ages, newborns-12 y/o. I am fully capable of working with 5 or less children at a time. Also, I was an Read more Assistant at a Montessori Primary (ages 2.5-6) but found it best to go back to staying home with my daughter. With that being said, I have experience within the Montessori philosophy. I absolutely love Montessori, but a classroom does not feel like home to me. I want to build a strong relationship with families and their children, one on one, who I can watch grow long term. I'm hoping you find interest in me caring for your family.
