I have had the great pleasure of being the FUN mom for 14 years to my wonderful 3 kids- twins who are in 6th grade & an 8th grader. They are magical, kind & grateful. But I am newly divorced and finding myself bored in the 50% of time that I don't have them and their sports/homework/fun times. And I thought- why not help other busy families and share the joy of taking care of their kids while easing their worries about finding a great sitter! I started babysitting at age 10 and all through college and nannied for families in the summer. Then I started my life in corporate America as a buyer for Target and didn't get to begin a family until my very late 30's, and now at the age of 52, my kids are wildly successful at Mahtomedi middle school and in many sports and I Read more find myself with half of my week with freedom and a wee bit of boredom. We have lived in Mahtomedi for the past 8 years and love this community and I still work full time during the day. But I have every Wednesday & Thursday night free, as well as every other weekend while the 3 kids are off with their father. I would love the opportunity to help you with your children so that you can go have a relaxing night out while knowing a very experienced mom is taking wonderful care of your children and home, managing things as you would hope and adjusting to your expectations as you lay out for me in your own home. I am happy to cook or run the kids around, hold any crying or fussy baby, calm the fears of any young child, or praise the triumphs as they finish their homework.
