Monae was great! She was kind and fun for the girls and even brought activities! She cleaned up the dinner dishes and tidied up as well. Am I dreaming? Finally, some of my family arrived at the house before I did, and I forgot to warn her that they might be coming; as a result, she did not allow them in. She called me right away to confirm their identity and get my permission to let them enter. I was blown away by how responsible and safe that was. She gets five stars in my book.

We had an amazing experience with Monae! She watched 5 kids for 4 hours on Saturday, and they absolutely loved her. From the moment she arrived, she kept them happily engaged — even coordinating a fun craft project with supplies she ordered from Michaels that arrived right when she got there. Monae stayed in constant contact throughout the day, updating us in the activities the kids were doing and sending pictures. She’s responsible, creative, and clearly wonderful with kids. We would definitely recommend her and look forward to having her back!

Monae watched my girls (3 years & 7 months) twice while vacationing. I felt at ease with her and her experience, and my girls took to her immediately. My three year old was thrilled when she came back the second time. Thank you for allowing us to enjoy some adult time while on vacation.

Monae was absolutely perfect!! She arrived early, was easygoing/flexible, and was very professional. This was our first time using a babysitter, and I felt completely comfortable leaving my children (ages 1 and 2) under Monae's care. She does a wonderful job of being serious and direct while remaining kind and light-hearted. It’s a perfect combination that made my family feel very safe. Most importantly, my kids loved her, and they had a great time!

Monae was great!! My kids loved her; she got in the pool with them, kept them safe and engaged, and did exactly what I hoped. She arrived early and was totally professional. I definitely recommend her! She sat, did Magnatiles with my son, and drew pictures with my daughter. She even suggested what we could do on our rainy afternoon.

Monae was Amazing!!! She was early to the appointment and super friendly. My daughter was upset when I left, but Monae had it under control. When I called to check in, she had so much fun that she did not want to speak to me. To our surprise and delight, when we arrived home, my daughter was asleep, and Monae had organized the living room and tidied up the kitchen.

I turned to Monae in a moment of high stress when my 13-month-old daughter came down with a cold in the middle of the night. She was able to quickly come to our house at 7 a.m. (She wakes at 5 a.m.) It truly was a miracle. Monae was a complete angel, playing with my daughter and keeping her entertained and happy all day. (She sanitized all my daughter's toys during her nap and was hygienic.) I am grateful for Monae's help and support!

I highly recommend Monae, who cared for our four kids (all under 7) for an evening while we were on holiday in New York City from Australia. Her communication was exceptional; she came prepared and cared for the kids conscientiously.

Monae was our babysitter Friday night. I was so grateful she brought activities (toys, books, etc.) with her. We stayed at an Airbnb and didn’t have many toys. Monae showing up with activities was a big hit with the kids and an instant icebreaker! I would highly recommend Monae to any family.

We virtually interviewed Monae: on short notice, she watched my 3-year-old daughter. She came about an hour before bedtime and brought a quick craft for them to do together. They also played with some puzzles, danced, and had a little glow stick party! She seamlessly moved through her nighttime routine, getting her to bed on time. My daughter woke up the next morning looking for her and rambled about everything they did and how much fun they had. It was the cutest thing ever!

She watched our daughter Memorial Day weekend when we went to an event and we could not be happier. Our daughter loved her, was talking about her for days, and she put us right as ease. It was our first time using any babysitter and I would not hesitate to hire her again. Thank you to Monae, what a fantastic job!

She is fabulous. A "merry poppins" for babysitting, and it was my first time leaving my children with someone!! She genuinely enjoyed our kids! Monae called me to let me know how things were going, and she got both children to sleep! (Getting a 3.5-year-old to sleep can be taxing simultaneously with an 18-month-old, and Monae did it!) We look forward to having her back tomorrow! She brought games and left a set for Charles to enjoy until tomorrow. That is just a special treat for them.

Monae babysat our 18-month-old for a whole day while we got ready for our parents' 40th Anniversary Party. She was phenomenal! She entertained our toddler, fed him lunch, watched over him during his nap, and then got him ready for our party! She even helped clean up after the party, so it was much quicker for us to leave the hall! 5/5!

Monae babysat for my infant when I was in the NYC area at a conference. I could not have had a more favorable experience. I wish I could have brought her back to my hometown to be a regular babysitter! So communicative, kind, and flexible. Monae has been watching our boys, ages 4 and 6, for the past 3 years. She is energetic, organized, caring, dependable, and everything you would want in a babysitter. We were new to the area, and meeting Monae was a relief. Our kids adore her! She has watched them evenings, full days, and even overnight! Monae is energetic, playful, and attentive. She balanced the needs of the younger and older kids, which was essential. Finding someone who can handle 4 kids is not always easy. Once, we had a substantial plumbing occurrence when she was watching the kids. She handled the situation professionally and appropriately while keeping the kids safe.

My husband and I hired Monae last minute for a wedding in the city. We’re from out of town and were having trouble finding someone but Monae responded immediately, communicated clearly, showed up early, and sent text updates throughout the night. She was warm and engaging with our nine month old and I would hire her again were we to need someone. Our friends whose apartment we were staying at also felt comfortable having her in their home.

Monae watched our two kids (3 & 6) so that we could have an adult evening out while visiting the city. I was feeling a bit nervous because the first time we met was when she showed up at our hotel room door, but she immediately put my fears to rest. She was very professional, offering her ID and CPR & first aid certifications for proof at the door and then continued to update us on the kids via text throughout the night, which further put us at ease. She is intelligent and well spoken and asked detailed questions about the children's routines & personalities. Her light hearted and soothing demeanor immediately but my kids at ease such that I was shocked when neither or them noticed us leaving (my little one usually cries at parting). I also like that she brought toys, this was really helpful given the hotel setting. I definitely plan to contact her again when in the city.

We hired Monae for a full-time gig to take care of my 6 month old son for a few weeks this summer. She was incredibly engaged with him - reading to him, doing LOTS of tummy time, playing on the floor, and teaching him to sit unassisted. She was able to follow a strict feeding/napping schedule that I had set for my son. She also fed him purees and was great with texting us pictures and updates throughout the day on how he was doing. She is extremely hard-working, and it is clear she really loves what she does. We look forward to having her back for date nights and backup childcare.

We hired Monae rather last-minute, so the job demanded that she be extra-responsive on short notice. "Can you come by in twenty minutes so we can meet you?" "Can you take on a number of peripheral responsibilities with little introduction?" Monae put us at ease. She is detail-oriented and sent multiple updates during the evening (per our request, as this was a new assignment.) She asked great questions about diet, restrictions, rules of the house, and what kind of activities we'd like our daughter to engage in while we were away. (Which is code for, Is TV allowed? Too many sitters just assume that TV is the first and only activity.) And of course most importantly, she is kind and enjoys being with kids. We'll be calling again for sure.

Monae was very responsive and prompt in communicating with us and, most importantly, we could tell she was also very caring toward our 4 month old son. She sent us pictures while we were out and kept track of his feeding, diaper changes and naps. She read several books with him and washed the bottles after feeding him.
